The Toonami Trending Rundown for February 10-11, 2024. Acclaimed director Sunghoo Park, known best for directing the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series, would bring his newest original anime series, Ninja Kamui, to the better cartoon show. In regards to this week’s social media buzz, #Toonami trended in the United States on Twitter alongside Ninja Kamui and Lycoris Recoil. Toonami also trended on Tumblr.
For this week’s feature, Toonami showcased a sneak preview of the upcoming Rick and Morty: The Anime series, which is scheduled to air on the network sometime later this year.
Toonami has also revealed the opening theme for Ninja Kamui, titled Vengeance by coldrain. You can check it out below.
On Monday, Toonami revealed the schedule for the night of February 24th, announcing that DBZ Kai will be returning to the lineup at 2:30 a.m. EST. This also means that Toonami will be deferring airing the second season of IGPX remastered, as the season 1 finale will be airing tonight, February 17. In regards to if and when Toonami plans on airing it, Jose Argumedo, whom is in charge remastering the show, has said that: “Season 2’s done and turned into the network. Up to them when and if they want to air it.”
