During the Crunchyroll industry panel at Anime Expo 2024, Crunchyroll revealed some new details for the upcoming third and final season of Fire Force. This includes a new trailer, key visual, and release date for the hit anime series by Atsushi Ohkubo.

Season 3 will be split into two cours (roughly around 24-26 episodes combined) with the exact episode count is still to be announced. The first half is scheduled to premiere on April 2025, while the second half premiering on January 2026. The show will be simulcast and dubbed by Crunchyroll, taking over for Funimation upon its merger.
On a related note, Crunchyroll has also revealed at the same panel that they will also be simulcasting Dr. Stone Science Future, the fourth and final season of Dr. Stone. No release date has been revealed has been revealed for that show at this time.
The third season of Fire Force was announced back in May 17, 2022, following the release of the final volume of the Fire Force manga in Japan; completing the storyline after 34 volumes and 304 chapters. The show is animated by David Production, with season 1 directed by Yuki Yase, and season 2 directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa.

Tokyo is burning, and citizens are mysteriously suffering from spontaneous human combustion all throughout the city! Responsible for snuffing out this inferno is the Fire Force, and Shinra is ready to join their fight. Now, as part of Company 8, he’ll use his devil’s footprints to help keep the city from turning to ash! But his past and a burning secret behind the scenes could set everything ablaze.
Fire Force has previously aired on Toonami, with season 1 premiering from July 28, 2019 to February 2, 2020. The show’s success led to Season 2 airing from November 8, 2020 – May 9, 2021.
