Secondly, Intruder 3 was announced. Not much detail was giving as of yet except that it will be coming in November.

Back in December when we interviewed Sonny Strait, he said:

“The Biggest lesson I learned is never say die” “There’s no telling, they may bring him (The Intruder/T.O.M. 1) back” “I will not say goodbye to T.O.M. 1, T.O.M. 1 is still probably out there and if they can come up with another idea he may come back again” “That’s one thing I learned in my career my characters tend to come back “

You can listen to that whole interview here:

You can rewatch the Intruder 2 event here on our YouTube:

We also got a behind the scenes look of Samurai Jack.

Jason DeMarco stated that they will give out more info as soon as Genndy Tartakovsky allows them to do so.

It was also announced that Toonami will be ruining a 5 part original micro series in 2017 directed by Mamoru Oshii and produced by Production IG. Each episode will be five minutes long. Toonami streamed a separate commercial that Oshii directed and Production I.G animated in March.

There will also be a Production IG and FLCL 2 Panel on Sunday, the Production IG Panel will be from 4:00pm – 5:00pm Pacific Time and the FLCL 2 Panel will be from 5:15pm – 6:15pm Pacific Time.

The Production IG panel on Sunday will have a guest from the new GITS live action movie. The FLCL 2 Panel will be hosted by Jason DeMarco and Maki Terashima-Furuta with special guests Kazuya Tsurumaki creator of “FLCL” and Mayumi Shintani voice of Haruko, also a FLCL poster will be giving out to the first 2,000 attendees which can be autographed.

Here are some additional side notes:

Toonami airing on weekdays is unlikely at this time and expanding beyond Saturday will require at least a million factors.

Someone asked for Big O 3. Jason’s response was: “Nothing is impossible”

We would like to give a special thanks to @aquastar831 for their live stream coverage of the Toonami Panel.
