The Toonami Trending Rundown for December 3-4, 2016. It was a good night for social media buzz with Gohan vanquishing Cell among other moments as every show had successfully trended in the US during their respective East Coast airings, while Toonami also trended on both Twitter and Tumblr. No character or in-show content trends to report this week, however.
This week’s feature was a review of the Attack on Titan video game. It received a score of 7.5 out of 10.
Tune in next week for the season 1 finale of Iron Blooded Orphans, along with the penultimate episode of the DBZ Cell saga and the penultimate episode of JoJo’s Phantom Blood arc, among other great moments. These next two weeks will also be the final two weeks of the regular schedule for 2016 as it has been announced that Christmas Eve will feature a JoJo’s marathon, while New Years Eve will feature a DBZ Kai marathon to end off the year.
We’ll see you again next week, but we do wish to take a moment to send our thoughts to those affected by the loss of voice actor Cole Brown, whom passed away back on November 18 at the age of 60. Cole lent his voice to various Funimation productions for over 10 years, including voicing One Piece’s Blackbeard and Saul, and Full Metal Alchemist’s Henshel. On behalf of everyone, thanks for the memories, Cole and may your soul rest in peace.
