The Toonami Trending Rundown is a triple-feature for the broadcasts of April 26-27, 2025 as well as May 3-4 and 10-11, 2025. These three weeks featured among other things, episodes 4-6 of Lazarus in addition to the season one finales of both Blue Exorcist and Common Side Effects.
For the nights of April 26-27 and May 3-4, #Toonami trended in the USA on Twitter alongside Lazarus, Common Side Effects, and Blue Exorcist. And on the night of May 10-11, after the premiere of Lazarus episode 6, Toonami marathoned all six episodes of the show that have aired up to that point the commemorate the halfway point of the season and to allow newcomers to the show to catch up on the series. In terms of trending, #Toonami trended in the US alongside Lazarus.
The conclusion of the April 26-27 edition of Toonami also saw a special presentation of the movie musical Shinbangumi by Ginger Root. #Shinbangumi would also trend in the US as a result. If you missed it or want to see it again, the full movie can be viewed on Adult Swim’s YouTube page.

Tune in tonight as Bleach makes its long-awaited return to Toonami after over a decade with the premiere of the Thousand Year Blood War arc at 12:30 a.m., while Blue Exorcist begins the Kyoto Saga at 1:00 a.m.
