The Toonami Trending Rundown for June 7-8 and 14-15, 2025. The Dragon Ball franchise returns home as Dragon Ball Daima finally makes its premiere on the Saturday night lineup.
For the night of June 7-8, #Toonami trended in the U.S. on Twitter alongside Bleach TYBW and Blue Exorcist. #Toonami also trended on Tumblr alongside Bleach and One Piece. A week later on the night of June 14-15, #Toonami trended in the U.S. on Twitter alongside Lazarus, Dragon Ball Daima, and Bleach TYBW. #Toonami trended on Tumblr alongside Sailor Moon.
This week’s feature was a game review for The Midnight Walk by Moon Hood Studios and Fast Travel Games. It received a 9/10 score.
The Annecy Festival took place in France last week, and Cartoon Network revealed some notable future programming for the channel in the future. Of interest for Toonami viewers, Adult Swim has announced that the Ninja Kamui has been renewed for not just a second season (titled Red Vendetta), but a third season as well. In addition, Season 3 of Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal will premiere on Adult Swim in early 2026.

Finally, a little programming note: As Dragon Ball Daima’s premiere was 45 minutes long, Bleach and every show after started 15 minutes later than usual on the 14th. So, for June 21 onward, Toonami has confirmed that the schedule will return to its regular times. In addition, for the 4th of July weekend on May 5, Toonami will have a My Adventures with Superman marathon of all 10 episodes of Season 2. A move done in tandem with promotion for the upcoming theatrical release of James Gunn’s Superman (2025) on June 11th and is also great for those who want to (re)watch the show with season 3 in production. Or for those who can’t watch due to holiday travelling, attending Anime Expo or another convention or whatnot, no need to worry.
