This Toonami Trending Rundown is for the nights of May 17-18 and 24-25, 2025. The 13th anniversary of the Better Cartoon Show’s revival would feature the return of some familiar faces. After years of waiting, Toonami fans finally got to see the long-awaited return of Bleach with the start of its final arc, the Thousand-Year Blood War, while Blue Exorcist begins the Kyoto Saga.
For the night of May 17, #Toonami would trend in the United States on Twitter alongside Lazarus, #BleachTYBW and Blue Exorcist. Meanwhile on the night of May 24, #Toonami and #Lazarus would trend in the U.S, while Sailor Moon trended on Tumblr.
This week’s feature was a game review of Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist. It received an 8.5 out of 10 score.

On Anime Expo week on July 3rd, Toei will partner with the Los Angeles Dodgers for a One Piece themed night at Dodger Stadium.

Speaking of Anime Expo, Viz Media is beginning to release some of their plans for the big show in L.A. in July, and among what to watch for will include new information regarding the fourth and final cour of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War as well as Toonami’s newest original series Rooster Fighter. Stay tuned.
After a six-year hiatus, One-Punch Man is set to return for its third season this coming October 2025. VIZ Media has announced that they have licensed the series for distribution in the Americas and Oceania, as they have with the previous two seasons. As with any show, if you do wish to see One-Punch Man rejoin Toonami, we always recommend to keep watching and showing your support to the block and send your show requests to Toonami’s Facebook (Jason DeMarco has recently closed all of his social media accounts) as well as letting VIZ know through their respective social media outlets.
