For those who have been wanting more Lycoris Recoil, Aniplex has released six anime short films centered on the daily lives of Chisato, Takina, and the LycoRico crew. Titled Lycoris Recoil: Friends are thieves of time, these shorts can be viewed both subbed and dubbed on Aniplex USA’s YouTube Page and on Crunchyroll.
The illustrious legacy of Dragon Ball on Toonami is set to continue, as it was announced on Toonami’s Facebook page that Dragon Ball Daima will finally be making its way to the Toonami lineup on June 14th at 12:30 a.m. EDT. To make way, Bleach and Blue Exorcist will move down the lineup by 30 minutes each to air on 1:00 and 1:30 a.m. EDT respectively, while One Piece will be reduced to airing one episode a week at 2:00 a.m. In addition, as the first episode of Daima will be 45 minutes long, Bleach and every show afterwards will air 15 minutes later than usual.
Finally, this past week was the birthday of yours truly, so I’d like to give a huge thank you to Jason, Steve, Dana, and everyone at Cartoon Network who are doing their part to rebuild the better cartoon show. as well as those that watch, record, and live tweet and blog this great block. No doubt that Toonami is the gift that keeps on giving.
