The Toonami Trending Rundown for October 14-15, 2017. Business as usual for the better cartoon show as Vegeta gives Cabba a lesson on turning Super Saiyan, so to speak, while Gon and the crew play dodge ball against Razor for one of the remaining rare cards, and Iruka reminiscences Naruto’s troubled past, among other moments.
On Twitter, Toonami as well as every show save for Dragon Ball Super and DBZ Kai would successfully trend in the US during their respective East Coast airings. Meanwhile on Tumblr, Toonami would along with Dragon Ball Super and Hunter x Hunter.
And finally, Dragon Ball Super’s buzz continues strong as the show for the 23rd time makes it on Nielsen Social’s top 5 most talked about shows on the day on Twitter and Facebook. This also marks the 37th time a Toonami show has reached this list since we started recording this feat so far.
With the encore airing coming to an end, Attack on Titan season 2’s run comes to a close. As the wait for season 3 continues, in its place starting tonight is the continuation of the current rerun of Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex with the start of the 2nd GIG. And more changes are likely inbound as the countdown to Countdown, the next Total Immersion Event, is just 2 weeks away.
