The final volume of Atsushi Ohkubo’s Fire Force manga was released in Japan on Tuesday, May 17, completing the manga storyline after 34 volumes and 304 chapters. To commemorate the occasion, Kodansha and David Production have officially announced that a third season of the Fire Force anime adaptation is in production.

Additional details regarding the third season, including a premiere date and how much the season will cover, have yet to be revealed at this time.
In addition, a mobile game is in the works, titled Fire Force: Enbu no Sho (“Flame Dance”). Not much has been revealed other than it will feature a theme song by Mrs. Green Apple (whom provided the opening theme for season 1) titled “Enen.”
