Every year in July, no less than 130,000 attendees converge into Downtown San Diego as the San Diego Comic-Con is held. With Comic-Con being one of the world’s biggest festivals for comics and nerd culture, not surprisingly some of the biggest news in entertainment is often announced here. While there will not be a Toonami panel at SDCC this year, there will be several panels and events for Toonami fans to enjoy and perhaps to watch out for in regards to future announcements.
Adult Swim this year will once again be setting up their “Adult Swim on the Green” Festival Grounds just outside the convention center halls, to showcase some of their hit and upcoming titles, including the upcoming Toonami original series Rooster Fighter. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll will premiere the dub of Part 2 of One Piece’s Egghead Arc, while Aniplex will host a Demon Slayer panel to commemorate the theatrical release of the Infinity Castle arc. And who knows what else we’ll see in store.
Hand-picked from the official schedule and other sources, this is a curated list of the various events and panels that could be of interest of Toonami viewers, including panels of shows that have been featured on Toonami, as well as industry panels of companies that have a partnership with the block.
Do note that there is a possibility that there can be Toonami-related news in panels that aren’t listed below, but fans should be on the lookout for any possible announcements. I’ll be on the ground in Downtown San Diego covering the events, so for potential breaking news announcements and live-tweets, be sure to follow @ToonamiSquad on Twitter and our other social media accounts.
This schedule list will be updated if more information becomes available and is subject to change. All listed times are in Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) unless specified. If there’s any events that we left out that is of interest for Toonami viewers or needs changing, feel free to let @AnimeSavior know through his Twitter.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle
Time: Saturday July 26, 2025 5:45pm – 6:45pm PDT
Room: Hall H
Official Description: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has won the admiration of millions of fans around the globe since its debut in 2019. In celebration of the highly anticipated first feature film of the epic trilogy coming exclusively to theaters on September 12, 2025, Crunchyroll is proud to present Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle coming to Hall H! Special guests from Japan and the U.S. host an unforgettable evening featuring an exclusive-footage presentation. The three-part cinematic movie represents the all-out battle of the hugely popular award-winning anime shonen series.
Author Notes: After a two-year dispute of sorts between Toonami and show distributors Aniplex, Crunchyroll, and Sony, Toonami would finally get to air Demon Slayer’s Mugen Train, Entertainment District, and Swordsmith Village arcs during late 2023-2024. However, Toonami has yet to receive the green light to air the fourth season, the Hashira Training arc, at this time. Previous seasons of Demon Slayer making its way to Toonami has been announced at panels before (including during last year’s Demon Slayer panel at SDCC), and if the Hashira Training arc is coming to Toonami in the near future, an announcement at SDCC would not be out of the question.
Following the theatrical success of Mugen Train, Sony has opted to make the show’s final arc, the Infinty Castle arc into a movie trilogy. With the first of these films already in theaters in Japan since July 18, 2025, and will arrive in the United States on September 12, 2025. Unfortunately, given that the Infinty Castle arc will be a movie trilogy, it could potentially be years before the final arc will reach Toonami viewers…if the arc is turned into a television format at all.
