Shinichiro Sato, the former drummer of The Pillows, had passed away on March 23 at the age of 61 after a battle with esophageal cancer. Toonami and anime fans may know him and his former bandmates best for producing the music for the FLCL franchise. Our condolences go out to Sato’s friends, family, & fans.
