Both Uzumaki and Demon Slayer also trended on Tumblr.

Among the features for the month Toonami reviewed Still Wakes the Deep by The Chinese Room on October 5th. It received an 8 out of 10 score.

In an interview with Collider, Genndy Tartakovsky revealed some new information regarding Primal. Among other things, season 3 will be premiering on Adult Swim in 2025, the first two episodes are in post-production as of the interview, and half of the season is fully animated so far. We’ll keep you posted on the developments ahead.

New York Comic Con took place in October, and Adult Swim hosted a panel for Lazarus with producers Gil Austin, Joseph Chou, Takenari Maeda and Shinichirō Watanabe. Fans who were lucky enough to get in the room were treated to seeing the series’ first episode. Adult Swim plans on premiering the show this April 2025.

This 1:50 sneak peak of the premiere episode was first showcased to those who attended the Rick and Morty: The Anime panel in San Diego Comic-Con back in July and has now been released to the general public.

Also at NYCC, Aniplex revealed that two hit Shonen Jump franchises will come to Toonami as Demon Slayer goes on hiatus from the lineup. The first being the return of Blue Exorcist for the first time since 2014, airing on November 2nd at 1:00 a.m. EST. And the other being the U.S. television premiere of Mashle: Magic and Muscles the following week, on November 9th at 12:30 a.m.

Finally during the month, it was revealed that the new Cartoon Network Studios original series Invincible Fight Girl would join the lineup as Toonami’s newest original series on November 2nd at midnight.

Of course, Demon Slayer is far from done, as the wait continues for the eight-episode fourth season, the Hashira Training Arc, to reach Toonami airwaves. And Ufotable is presently working on the arc after, the Infinity Castle story arc, which as of now will be a film trilogy. Its first installment to hit theaters sometime in 2025. We’ll keep you posted on the developments ahead.

Not much to say until next edition of the trending rundown, congratulations to the New York Liberty for winning the WNBA Championship, congrats to the Los Angeles Dodgers for winning the World Series, and stay gold as always.
