The Toonami Trending Rundown is for the month of September 2026, featuring a month-long event where Toonami showcased all 12 episodes of Scavengers Reign, the science fiction animated series by Joe Bennett and Charles Huettner.
On Twitter, #ScavengersReign trended in the United States during all four nights the show aired (Toonami aired three episodes a week) during the month. #Toonami also trended in the USA during 3 out of 4 nights in September (the exception being the 19th-20th).
The feature for September 12-13 was a video game review for Replaced, an action-platform video game by Sad Cat Studios and Thunderful Games. It received a 7.5/10 score.

The month of October will see a trio of brand-new shows gradually make their premiere on the better cartoon show. Tonight’s broadcast for October 3-4 will see the world premiere of Anthony Bourdain and Joel Rose’s Get Jiro at midnight.
We’ll see a doubleheader of the first two episodes for the first night (with the remaining eight episodes of the season airing once a week thereafter), as we’ve previously seen with other Adult Swim/Toonami originals making their series premieres to help prospective fans see if this is a series they’d be interested in watching weekly. In addition, premiere episodes will see an encore run at the end of the block later in the night.
In addition, we’ll also get a doubleheader of One Piece at the 1:00 a.m. slot for the next two weeks.
But that’s not all for Toonami in the month of October, as Toonami will also air a pair of popular anime series from Aniplex and Crunchyroll in the upcoming weeks. During the broadcast on the night of September 26, Toonami revealed that Wind Breaker would be joining the better cartoon show starting on October 10th at 12:30 a.m.
And during the following week on October 17, Toonami will premiere the hit anime series Gachiakuta at 1:00 a.m. EDT.
